We Need to Make Some Changes
In a recent broadcast of the Suzanne Atwell Show, Climate Adaptation Center CEO, Bob Bunting, spoke with Ms. Atwell on the link between climate warming and the devastation inflicted by Hurricane Ian. In his interview, Bob highlights the impact of climate warming on extreme weather events and the likelihood of more rapidly intensifying Category 4/5 hurricanes striking Southwest Florida. He points out that a changing climate requires a regional approach to issues ranging from outdated building codes and zoning regulations, to planning for rapid, large scale evacuations.
